We are seeing a rise in vehicle break-ins after the Student Move-in period started. We encourage all residents to never leave anything in your car, especially backpacks and duffle bags whether or not you have anything of value in them. For instance, on Sunday September 7th at 9:45am near Maynard and Glenmwar a suspect broke a window on a car and grabbed a bag that was visible in the back seat. Nothing of value was in the bag and nor was anything seemingly missing.

If you see anyone acting in a suspicious manner, it is OK to call 645-4545 and provide a good description of the suspect, their clothes, direction of travel and what you witnessed. If the suspect is in the act of committing a crime, please use 911
