ROTR has set up a hotline for this weekend:

ROCK ON THE RANGE concert at Crew Stadium is scheduled to begin 12:00PM Friday (16th) and end 10:45PM Sunday (18th). Performances are scheduled until 12:00AM on Friday and 11:00PM on Saturday.

To help assess and respond to noise concerns and other issues, a hotline has been established for the surrounding community.   You can call the hotline at 614-447-4267 and leave a detailed message stating your name, number, address, time of your call, and reason for calling.   Alternatively, I have always found that the front office number is answered by a living person during events at the stadium. That number is 614-447-CREW (2739).

Also,
  • Phase 2 of the Sohud Community Mural (the tree mural at Summit & Hudson) will be painted over the next 3 Saturdays in May, and all are welcome to join in!!  This time, the painting will be added to the side of the abandoned church/ theatre on Hudson next to the 14-0.  Stop by between 10 am and 3 pm to be drafted on the spot, or contact ninathomson@yahoo.com for more details.
  • University Area Commission meets this Wednesday and will be discussing a formal response from the area residents about the University Plan and Infrastructure Funding Requests.  See the details about meetings on their website or Facebook page.
  • We still have grant money left-over from last summer’s graffiti paint-out activities and will be doing  it again this year.  We are looking for people willing to help out with that this year, especially anyone with crazy-mad organizing talents 😀
  • You’ll get a separate reminder about the Block Watch meeting on June 12. If you’ve signed up for a committee in the past (e.g., clean-up, parking, historic preservation, et c.) & received an email about it, you will be asked to give a report of your progress at the June meeting.

Have a Great Weekend, SoHud!
