Last week, I understand, a rental property on Indiana was broken into and had all major appliances stolen. The previous tenants had moved out. The thieves used a moving truck, broke the back door down, and took out the appliances, including air conditioners. Neighbors saw this happening, but *assumed*, because of the moving truck, that new tenants were just moving in, so the crime proceeded without interference.
The point of a Block Watch is that we do get involved. Please speak with your neighbors. Please investigate unusual sounds. Please walk around or make your presence visible on the streets. Please say “Hi” to folks around here. Please watch. Please report.
