We all love our little furry friends, but how can I best keep them safe during these hot summer days?
Watch for signs of heat stroke
Watch for signs of excessive panting, drooling or vomiting. Is your pet staggering or do they collapse? Red gums and tongue may be a symptom.
Never leave pets in the car
Your car acts like a green house, even if the a/c is blowing. Even at 85°F a car can quickly reach over 100°F inside.
Storms are a coming
Thunderstorms scare many pets. Keep them indoors and safe. Comfort blankets can often help.
